Show details

All breeds recognised by the GCCF are welcome, as are Household Pets, even if not registered with the GCCF, and every recognised pedigree breed can enter the Coventry & Leicester show. In addition all GCCF recognised Sphynx cats can also enter the Sphynx show, all GCCF recognised Persians and Exotics can also enter the Colourpoint show regardless of colour and Household Pets can enter all 4, unlike real shows there is no "any 2 out of x" limit.

Members classes are only open to fully paid up members of the club concerned and YES classes can only be entered by fully signed up members of the GCCF YES scheme.

How to enter.

First go to the "Classes" page and either follow the links to the show(s) you are interested in or download the pdf schedule from the first link. Then navigate to the "Entry Form" and fill in all the relevant details, add your photos and click "submit". If you are not sure how much you owe us when you receive the acknowledgement email and payment details just drop us an email and we will let you know.

Entries & entry fees

The shows will open for entries at around 9am on Saturday 12th February 2022 and will close at 10pm on Monday 28th February 2022. Entries cost £8 for a single entry, £6 per entry for 2 entries, and £5 per entry for 3 or more entries. 1 cat in 2 shows classes as 2 entries, 1 cat in 2 shows and 1 cat in 1 show counts as 3 etc. Members classes are £2 per cat per show and YES classes are free.

FREE single membership for 1 year is included with the 1 cat entry fee and joint membership (if applicable) with the 2 cat entry fee, such membership will run to, and include, our 2023 shows.

Awards

All classes will be judged 1st to 3rd.

Coventry & Leicester - All class winners EXCEPT Members and YES classes will be considered for Best of Variety Adult/Neuter/Kitten in Sections 1-6, and Neuter/Kitten in Sections 7 & 8 (HHP). These winners will then be considered for Overall Best Adult/Neuter/Kitten (S1-6) and Best Non Pedigree and Pedigree Pet (S7-8). Finally, the Overall Best In Show Pedigree will be chosen from the Overall Best Adult/Neuter/Kitten (S1-6) and the Overall Best Household Pet will be chosen from the Best Non Pedigree and Pedigree Pet (S7-8).

Sphinx - All class winners EXCEPT Members classes will be considered for Best of Variety Adult/Neuter/Kitten in Section 4, and Neuter/Kitten in Sections 7 & 8 (HHP). The Overall Best In Show Pedigree and Household Pet will then be chosen from these winners.

HHP - All class winners EXCEPT Members classes will be considered for Best of Variety Neuter/Kitten (S7-8). These winners will then be considered for Overall Best Non Pedigree and Pedigree Pet. Finally, the Overall Best in Show will be chosen from these 2 winners.

Colourpoint - All class winners EXCEPT Members classes will be considered for Best of Variety Adult/Neuter/Kitten in Section 4, and Neuter/Kitten in Sections 7 & 8 (HHP). The Overall Best In Show Pedigree and Household Pet will then be chosen from these winners.
