Just the one exhibit entered into this class but never the less a lovely looking lad. His head looks very well developed showing a moderate wedge with gently curving contours. A nice smile can be seen by his rounded muzzle. Large ears and expressive eyes that are almond shaped with a good green colour. A lovely depth of colour to the coat and the ticking can be seen. Lovely long whiskers and he has a nice ruff developing too. Lovely looking lad.

I would like to thank Lesley and Georgina, Joint Show Managers, for the invitation to judge in the Quad Virtual show 2022.  Also, a big shout out to Carol Walker, Virtual Show Coordinator, who is the absolute expert when it comes to managing virtual shows.  I have done a number of virtual shows with Carol at the helm, and know how well she does her job!  I would like to also thank those exhibitors who entered in this class, Section 2 Male Neuters.   Eleven entries in total, with a nice cross section of breeds in competition.  A difficult choice to narrow down to just three.  Each of these top three neuters is well worthy of a first place.  All were a great credit to their respective breeds.

1ST EXHIBIT 130.

Blue Point Birman. 1 year 7 months.

I just love everything about this wonderful fellow!!!Still just a youngster, but full of so much great potential.Nice broad and rounded head.Wonderful type and the true Birman serene expression.Ears held just a fraction high (age), but as the head continues to broaden, they will settle into the correct placement.Beautiful china blue eyes.Correct straight line across the tops.Dip in profile and correct nose length.Full cheeks, and a very firm chin.Perfect front gloves.I can see one perfect gauntlet. The other appears to be good too.All feet a bright and dazzling white.Medium blue uniform points.Full clear glacial coat.Very pleasing contrasts here.Excellent heavy boning. Full tail that appears a good length.Shown to perfection!!!I predict a very bright future for this most handsome fellow!!!Both photos showed him to great advantage!

2ND EXHIBIT 129.

Norwegian Forest Cat. Blue Mackerel Tabby. 2 years.

Another wonderful fellow that I liked very much, also. Both photos were so helpful.Nice triangular head shape.Tall ears just a fraction close at the moment (age), and they should drop into place as he matures.Lovely tufts to the tips of both ears.Full oval eyes with a wonderful oblique setting.Appears to have an amber colour.I did not get a profile view, but from what I could see of the head in both photos, I would say the profile line is nice and straight.Wonderful muzzle and firm chin. What a well-grown fellow!!!Firm and so muscular.Nice boning here.Oval paws and toe tufts.Wearing a full shirt front, and showing full knickerbockers.Coat is so wonderfully full and groomed to the last hair.Coat colour and pattern were superb! Another youngster with a great future ahead!!!

3RD EXHIBIT

 Blue Nebelung. 7 years.

The LH version of the Russian Blue. This fellow screams Russian Blue all over, but for the coat length. What a most handsome fellow, and so mature at 7 years of age. Correct head for the breed and such a true Russian Blue expression. The ears for size, shape and setting were just right.Such nice green eyes for this age.Eye shape and setting very pleasing. High cheek bones.Nice profile line and eye angle. Prominent whisker beds. Firm chin. Did not get a full body photo, but from what I did get, the boning looks good and the rounded paws perfect.Full medium blue coat of good length. Full ruff and bib to accent the head. Some rusting to the bib, which is the scourge of all blue cats. Otherwise, looks very well groomed.

1st. EXHIBIT 94

Maine Coon. Classic Brown Tabby With White. 8 months

I was delighted to have a Maine Coon baby in my class (even if she is the only one!) and having owned (for over 16 years) a Classic Tabby & White Maine Coon boy, I felt very at home with her.  Lovely large ears with wonderful tufts in picture 2.  Strong head and square muzzle showing a good depth to her chin.  Long white whiskers.  Eyes set well apart, looking full in picture 2 with a slightly oblique setting.  Semi long coat which is well patterned.  White front paws and back legs and chest.  Ruff seems to be developing. Tail fur looks full.  Congratulations on her win and I hope to maybe meet her in person one day!

Class 14 Members Class. Judge Alison Lyall

Thank you to all who organised this virtual show and to all the members who entered their beautiful cats under me– I could have easily awarded places to all of them and had no idea how difficult it would be to judge from a photo without the cat to handle.

IST. EXHIBIT 61

Blue Tortie Silver & White Bicolour Tabby Tonkinese Pointed RagaMuffin. 3 years. FN.

A completely ravishing lass with the most wonderful sweet and gentle expression who was groomed to perfection. She has a beautiful broad head with well spaced ears of medium size, broad rounded muzzle and cheeks and a full slightly tapered chin. Large walnut shaped eyes are well spaced and she has a lovely profile line. I really fell for her - she was quite irresistible.

2ND. EXHIBIT 135

Red Maine Coon. 1 year 9 months. MN

I loved this full coated red boy who was posing so confidently and thought he had super head type. Large tufted ears were high and wide set, supported by high broad cheekbones and his lovely square muzzle had a good deep broad chin to fill the base of the square. His large gold eyes were almost round and he has a good profile with an excellent deep perpendicular drop from the tip of his nose to the base of his chin. Such a handsome lad.

3RD.  EXHIBIT 129

Blue Mackerel Tabby Norwegian Forest. 2 years. MN

A most handsome Norwegian Forest lad with a profuse shirtfront and an earnest and penetrating expression. He has a strongly triangular head shape with a well defined interior triangle, large ears well tufted and furnished and well opened almond shaped eyes with an oblique aperture. His profile looked to be long and straight and he had very glamorous white whiskers. A most appealing chap.
