Richard von Burg Weissensee, owned by Fiona Graham

Black tipped British Shorthair. 18 months. Male

Very pristine looking exhibit, cobby appearance and looks to have good bone and substance, with strong well-proportioned limbs from what could be seen, Head showing rounded appearance with good muzzle development, round on his brow, shell pink nose leather with darker outline, good depth chin. His ears are set well with good width between and do not distort his head shape. Wonderful eyes open and round, lovely gentle expression, the black rims adding to the effect and enhancing their wonderful green colour. I obviously cannot comment re his coat texture but the length appears to be medium and a good density, evenly tipped and the black contrasting well against the clean silver undercoat, completely free of tarnish or any excess markings. The condition appears to be absolutely splendid with the added bonus he looks so composed.

Also considered Exhibit 52. Oriental Spotted Tabby, Male Kitten, he has very good head type showing balanced even lines, profile developing well, strong muzzle, chin could possibly be a little deeper but that could well be due to the angle of the photograph. Ears a beautifully set, wide flared base without undue exaggeration and very good width between. Eyes are clear and bright, good green tone, slightly wide with oriental shape and slant, darker Tabby rims. Body long and lithe, well-toned, with slender legs and paws, tail could possibly be a little longer. Coat close lying and sleek. Excellent pattern, obviously I can’t state whether not not these were sound, but the surface clarity was excellent, showing multiple small spots with smaller still trout spotting over his shoulders, some LMC’s well marked facial tracings, he has a typical Tabby nose leather, good leg bars with a pleasing amount of tail rings, my only negative comment is his ground colour could be warmer, quite a lot of muzzle paling but these are minor issues, in view of his other fine qualities. He is a very alert and active youngster, wonderful condition

Also considered Exhibit 59 Brown Spotted Bengal, Male Neuter, most attractive looking exhibit, long muscular body with good depth of chest, sturdy limbs and good size paws, tail which does not appear overlong. Head still to round a little more and broaden at the cheeks, but he is only a year old, unable to comment on his profile as neither photo picks it up, good muzzle and chin, his ears I would ideally like a little smaller but this could well be because he is so alert in one of the photographs, green eyes little rounded with just enough indication of being wide oval, Superb pattern and contrast, large, varied size and shaped rosetted spots along his body, showing darker encircled line round a more russet inner colour all contrasting well on the warm sandy ground colour, well defined facials including scarab and cheek ribbons linking into a chin strap, with spots on ankles, wonderful tail rings for its entire length . He is a very alert and interested youngster, in super condition.
